Revered selector and seasoned digger Chida is a figurehead of Japan’s esoteric music community. Known for his marathon 8+ hour DJ sets, he’s also the owner and founder of the acclaimed label, Ene Records. Launched in 2009, the imprint has featured contributions from international artists including Prins Thomas, Eddie C, Man Power, and Lord of the Isles, and has provided a home for homespun Japanese artists such as The Backwoods, Cos Mes, and Sly Mongoose.
