Gerhan

Gerhan, aka KOMODO, is a DJ, musician, producer, remixer, and founder of Akamady Records. He started DJing in the mid-90s, developing a unique style marked by sonic layers and a rock sensibility.

Over the years, he’s become a key figure in Jakarta’s underground dance scene. From reinterpreting dub at Reggae Revolution to curating events like Quirk It! and HDYLW?, Gerhan has earned a reputation as a quietly influential artist, always in demand yet just beyond the mainstream. Under KOMODO, he’s released acclaimed works, including the Magic Hour EP (Cocktail d'Amore), Make It Scream / Night Time (Ene Records), and Thunder EP (MM Discos).
