Herta

Known in the scene as an active and avid crate-digger of undiscovered sounds, Jakarta-born Herta has been taking musical deep dives since childhood. First introduced to vinyl on trips to the flea market with his father, a fascination for the genre-spanning stacks would become the foundation for his record store — and, soon after, his label — Abadi Records.

While Abadi Records currently has two vinyl-only radioshows— 'babapanggang radio' on Echobox Amsterdam and 'Abadi FM' on norrm radio — Herta is also no stranger to Jakarta's dance floors, frequently playing and gathering crowds at its clubs and bars with sets that range from organic music such as funk, world music, and disco to electronic music like progressive house, tech house and acid house.
